Nusa Lembongan, a small island off the southeast coast of Bali. This island is a world away from the hassle and hectic pace of Kuta, Seminyak, Legian, and any other spots in Bali. This is a fine place to just put your feet up and relax. While everyone is putting their feet up, i planned to have a pre wedding photo shoot in this island. The sunshine was so bright, you'll get nothing if you wake up lately. (In photography world, the golden time, is a period shortly after sunrise or before sunset which the sky is redder and softer than when the Sun is higher in the sky).
Fig. A: Make Up
Luckily the team's make up artist was quite good, so it didn't take too long to start the session.
Fig. B: Session 1 : Mangrove Forest
I never knew that this place had a mangrove forest, and some locals had prepared a tour with boat crossing this place. Inspired by Chinese classic painting, the photographer asked me to pose holding a bamboo stick to move the boat.

The team decided to try one difficult angle, me and my wife laying down on the boat, and the camera man went off the boat, stepping on the mud, and took our picture from above.

We tried another spot called The Yellow Bridge. The bridge is yellow (for sure), and only fitted one motorcycle to pass trough. Luckily we were not at rush hour while having this photo session.

Levitation is a must. No caption needed :)

We moved to a spot called Dream Beach. I don't know why they name it that way, but the spot we chose had another outstanding name, Devil's Tears. It was a place with many reefs, and there was a particular spot with small cave beneath the surface. When the wave is coming in, the water will be pushed into the cave and flushed out up into the air. So the challenge was we need to shoot at the right time. So here is what we got :)

That's all folks. If the boredom finds you in Kuta, Nusa Lembongan is a good option.
